Delete your data
Recess has no accounts or passwords: your online save is your account, and its save code is how we find it. Deleting it removes your profile, progress, coins, items, furniture and car, wipes your slices of the films in your reel and takes your name off them (they read “Former player”), and removes the messages you've sent us. Every open room drops what you left in it (your flags, parked ships, high scores and car), whether you're in it or not, and from the app anything you've put up in the room you're in comes down at once.
In the app (easiest)
- Open Recess and tap the gear (Settings).
- Scroll to Privacy & safety and tap Delete my data.
- Confirm. Your online save is deleted and the game starts fresh on that device.
Here, with your save code
Don't have your code?
Write to us with the contact form: tell us your player name and roughly when you last played, and we'll do our best to find and delete it within 30 days.
What we keep
- Films you made with other players stay in their reels with their slices, but without yours and without your name.
- Reports other players made about you, and any ban, are kept for up to a year after they're dealt with, to keep Recess safe.
- Anything on your own device stays until you delete it in the app (which clears it) or uninstall the app.
